This lovely scene is of some trees alongside the Chena River located in Alaska. One of my favorite trees to paint are pine trees, so I really enjoyed working on this one from a photo by Photographer Amelia.It was a bit of a challenge, but I enjoyed it. This was painted as part of an Autumn 30 paintings in 30 days challenge I'm working on this month of September.

This is an original painting , painted with a palette knife using gel medium and acrylics on 8" x 10" canvas.
